 laveron und ich haben das Programm durchgearbeitet, es fehlen aber noch wichtige Infos wie ML oder FK (oder auch Expertenpicks), die das Ganze abrunden.

Eine mögliche Bank ist Francesco Clemente im P6-4 und ein vermutlich kurzes Rennen P6-5 mit 2 5. Vier Rennen breit bzw. so breit wie möglich. Aber in Stein gemeißelt ist noch gar nichts.

Etwas zu Francesco Clemente. Erstklassige Papiere, toller Start in die Karriere mit den beiden Siegen in Newmarket und Sandown. Dann eine kleine Pause, ein Handicap und dann vierjährig nicht sehr überzeugend. 

Wechsel zu Chad Brown, angepeilt wird das Jockey Club Derby. Es ist also ein Aufbaustart und es ist das erste Rennen auf der Seite vom großen Teich. Aber für die Art von Rennen steht er schon auch heraus und insofern sind wir optimistisch, dass es bereits reichen kann.

Pick six carryover features big fields, tough puzzles

Kuramata in the fourth race has been a beaten favorite in his last two but still may be a single on many pick six tickets.

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – It might be a good idea to get some friends to pool some money together if you want to attack Thursday’s pick six at Aqueduct, which begins with an $86,515 carryover following the improbable victory by Giramonte ($194.50) in Sunday’s finale.

Thursday’s turf-heavy sequence, which starts in race 4 (2:39 p.m.), includes large, or least competitive, fields and some perilous-looking singles.

Here’s a look:

Race 4: Though Kuramata has been a beaten favorite in each of his last two starts, he could be a single on many tickets. He was beaten a neck by Jerry the Nipper on July 30 at Saratoga, his first start in 11 months. That race produced four next-out winners, three of those earning career-high Beyer Speed Figures in those starts. Kuramata came back to run third next out at Saratoga.

Kuramata turns back to a mile, the distance at which he won his maiden off a 15-month layoff in 2021.

Winfromwithin makes his first start since running second to Emmanuel in the Grade 2 Tampa Bay Stakes on Feb. 4. He was fourth to Kuramata in the 2022 Oceanport at Monmouth.

Note that Mid Day Image will scratch as he was entered back for Friday.

Race 5: Material Witness ran a very good third in a field of 12 on Sept. 2 at Kentucky Downs, easily the best turf sprint run by any of the maiden 3-year-old fillies in this spot. Her trainer, Rob Atras, however, is just 4 for 89 in New York dating back to April 29.

Catskill Humor ran a good second going long for Brad Cox and was claimed for $75,000 by Ray Handal, who shortens her up and adds Lasix.

Nyxed goes first time for Linda Rice off an 11-month layoff. Fancy Stax and Isola may be others to consider in a tough heat.

Race 6: Hard to trust anyone in this full field of $25,000 claimers going a mile. The last time Salto de Tigre ran a one-turn mile, he was beaten a nose, but was moved up to first in a starter allowance here in April. The 87 Beyer earned in that spot is his career best.

Rocco Strong won twice around one turn here in the winter of 2022 and comes out of a decent second in his most recent, at Saratoga, behind Truculent, who came back to win his third straight race when raised in claiming level to $32,000 15 days later.

Six Percent hasn’t been out since June. The last time he ran for this price, though, he won by 10 1/4 lengths at Saratoga in the summer of 2022.

My Friends Beer won twice at this level and distance in the spring, but his last three have not been good.

Race 7: Daunt, coming out of fourth-place finishes in a pair of graded stakes, drops into a second-level allowance, a condition in which he was narrowly beaten twice during the Belmont spring meet. Daunt’s last win came in an allowance race here last October following a fifth in a Grade 3 stakes.

Francesco Clemente makes his North American debut for Chad Brown. He had gate issues in Great Britain.

Freedom Trail, one of just two 3-year-olds in this spot, went 2 for 2 here last fall, including a victory in the Awad Stakes. Trainer John Terranova removes blinkers.

Race 8: Steve Asmussen appeared to make a smart claim, haltering Perfect Munnings for $25,000 last month when that horse won by 14 1/2 lengths off an eight-month layoff for Linda Rice. He seems to be in a regular training pattern and has won twice in this condition previously.

Mariachi cuts back to his preferred distance after an unsuccessful try stretching out to 1 1/8 miles in the Albany.

Radio Red was third to 11-time winner Amundson going seven furlongs in this condition off a three-month layoff in Saratoga.

Race 9: Congratulations if you’re alive going into this last leg of New York-bred maiden $40,000 claimers going 1 1/16 miles on turf.

Trainer Joe Sharp, who won two races here Sunday, sends out Zapruder first off the claim for $40,000 where he finished seventh in an off-the-turf affair. He was beaten just 2 1/4 lengths for this price at Belmont when in the barn of Linda Rice. He does pick up Irad Ortiz Jr.

Myles finished second the last time he raced on turf in this condition at Belmont in May. He was well beaten in off-the-turfer at Saratoga in August.

Thatsmyboxer is an interesting longshot for David Donk, who brings this runner back off a two-month layoff going long on turf. His debut wasn’t too bad, and he went to the sidelines after a disappointing effort against open maiden claimers.

Wir schreiben hin und her, und zerbrechen uns den Kopf, wie man es am bestem spielt. Hinterher wissen wir dann mehr, wie immer, was richtig war (natürlich nur relevant, wenn die Bank sitzt).

Fazit: Es gibt 1 Schein mit 1 Bank.

Das 2. Re. ist das schwerste, siehe oben, aber wir wollen das Risiko gehem, "nur" vier Striche zu machen.
